Contracted on May, 18, 1833 - Completed December 1, 1833

Height 40 feet above surface ground
Diameter of Base 22 feet
Diameter of Top 10'-6"
Walls 3'-6" thick at base - 2'-0" at top in lime mortar - white washed twice.
Floors Floor paved with stone and hard brick
Stairs Circular with center post from floor to 6' below deck of lantern. Stairs were 2" plank with 8" risers
Door 1 door - 6' high x 3 1/2' wide made of double 1" board, crop nailed with strong hinges, lock and latch
Window 3 required. Strong frame and sashes containing 12 lights 8x10 glass
Arch Arch at top of tower for stone deck 12' diameter. 4" thick joints filled with lead
Scuttle In deck to project into lantern 18"x24". Scuttle and rabbets covered with copper
Ladder Iron from top of stairs to entrance of scuttle with steps 2" wide
Gallery Iron of octagon form - posts 2" square extended 4' into tower wall
Dome Ventilator 12" in diameter and 15" high
Lantern Door 4' high and 2' wide
Deck Handrail 2 railings, 3/4" square - posts, 1-1/4" square
Electrical Rod 2' above gallery and 2' into ground
Lamps 11 and 11 - 14" Reflectors
