Old Spanish Fort in Pascagoula

The Old Spanish Fort was previously owned by Jackson County. Since Hurricane Katrina the Spanish Fort has been purchased by the City of Pascagoula and the Fort is in the process of being renovated. All the artifacts were taken to Jackson for safe keeping until the Fort could reopen. The reopening is scheduled for the Spring of 2008.
